Very eventful and busy day that paid off as we were able to see a kaleidoscope of giraffe on the mountain. Team Simone was lucky enough to see 15 giraffe amble down the mountain side and mill around in the area of the vehicle. Team Jason found 10 Mountain reedbuck which apparently are very seldom seen. It was a great morning with excitement all around.
The afternoon saw an intense soccer match between the two vehicle teams with Team Jason being the overall winner at the end of this game…more games to follow. The group really needed this down-time after a couple of busy days. A lot of laughter and bonding was had by all, including those who stood at the sidelines.
This was all continued with a session on small mammal diversity research project. Check in later for the details.
Everyone is having a great time and are all getting along very well.

I’m hoping you got Janine to play soccer? If so, I’d like photographic evidence and am willing to pay handsomely!

What an amazing day! Wish we were there too! Hope Katie didn’t think she was playing rugby instead of soccer so everyone was safe from her tackles. Haha. Keep up all the good work and the exciting adventure. It is so great to be able to follow this blog and share in your adventure.
